Nomination Criteria

REQUIRED CRITERIA FOR NOMINATION

Choose a Category (The Innovator Award, The Humanitarian Award, The Justice Award, or The Christian Girl Who Rocks Award).
 
  • All nominations must be Christian girl between 13-18 years of age.
  • All nominations must currently reside in Ohio.
  • The nominee is describing a youth-initiated or youth-led project.
  • Must demonstrate exceptional Christian character and be active in their church congregation.
  • Must use their life with Jesus Christ as an example to disciple young people and their families and to support their community and local church congregation.
  • Must have a continuous record of using and supporting a ministry (with a minimum of one year.)
  • Must have proof of a high school GPA of 2.7 or higher (a copy of your high school transcript)
  • The nominee’s essay must be completed in two pages. No additional pages will be accepted.
  • For churches, one person may be nominated per year.
  • The application must be completed and submitted no later than Friday, October 16, 2026 11:59 p.m. EST.
  • Two letters of recommendation (two letters from a Pastor, Community Leaders, Judges, Principals, or Politicians).
  • High-resolution photos of their act of service, and recent copies of certificates of appreciation are accepted (limited to 2022-2026 – Optional).
  • A high-resolution headshot of the nominee.
  • For the Innovator Award: Must upload your new idea and develop a 10-minute max PowerPoint presentation or video

How to Nominate A Christian Girl Who Rocks?

  1. Fill out the nomination form completely. Please be detailed and specific and cite examples of the nominee’s efforts that support the respective award category for which she is being nominated. Attach additional sheets if necessary in PDF format.
  2. Attach PDF documents that further illustrate the nominee’s efforts, such as news articles, copies of commendations, and/or letters of support from persons who have worked with the nominee and/or benefited from her work.
  3. Submit the nomination form online. The completed form and supporting documents must be received by CGR™ by 11:59 p.m. EST on Friday, October 16, 2026.
 
Incomplete nominations will NOT be accepted and will have to be resubmitted before the deadline.
