Sasha LaMarr was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She is the mother of four incredible children: Semaj, Sahira, Skylar, and Carter. She is also the grandmother, known as “Honeybee,” to her granddaughter, “bumblebee” Milan. Sasha proudly attends Family Missionary Baptist Church, considered the best church in the region. Senior Pastor Pastor Frederick V LaMarr. Under his leadership, Sasha has become  a faithful member stretching over a wide range of ministries that she serve. A true servant of God, she firmly believes that your life’s purpose will unfold when you surrender fully to His plan. Sasha’s beloved bible verse comes from Proverbs 22:6, saying: Educate a child on the right path, and they will stay on it even when older. 

As she held the scripture close to her heart, she knew God was calling her to guide today‘s youth. Sasha is committed to making sure every young woman has the right tools to accomplish anything she sets her mind to. It was her decision to step out on faith that led her to join Christian Girls Rock.
